Features & Benefits of Biometric Door Access System
Our integrated Biometric Door Access System solution at T3 Security Integration is designed with security physical access control, attendance tracking reader integration, and usability in mind.
On a daily basis, office buildings typically experience a lot of visitors coming in and out of the building, sometimes in multiple entrance location.
Therefore, in order to effectively support and manage the keeping track of the steady flow of people, it is important to implement a biometric access control system, such as user Face recognition and Fingerprint & Palm Print access control products.
With a biometric door access control automatic authentication services, personnel who genuinely need to gain entry into the building, such as employees, clients will be granted access easily and the people that don’t belong in the building will be denied entry and the security front desk staff will be alerted
1. Adaptable to Your Security Access Control Needs
Our biometric door access control solution product have the flexibility of being able to be turned off to set the doors open on special days where there is a large influx of people, such as open house visits or public events.
While on normal days operations where building security access control is needed, the employee access control functionality can be switched back on to create a very secure location
2. Durable Design For Reliable Outdoor Usage
Our integrated biometric door access solution is extremely robust and features a structurally sturdy stainless steel enclosure which is resistant to Shock impact and Vandal attempts using sharp pin tools.
It is designed to operate reliably both indoors (eg. office door) and rough outdoors environment which is exposed to Moisture, heat, and dust (eg. factory warehouse)
3. Integration with 3rd party Access Control System
The Biometric Door Access System features multiple key interface options, such as Wiegand output which allows it to be able to seamlessly integrate with virtually any pre-existing 3rd party systems such as
1. Access control lock devices
2. Time attendance tracking system hardware
3. Payroll management software systems
4. CCTV Video surveillance systems
4. Fully Scalable Deployment
the Biometric Door Access System is fully scalable and can be easily deployed from one to hundreds of bio credential authenticated building entry points.
Flexible Deployment Configuration – Standalone & Networked
Depending on your security design requirements, the Biometric door access system is able to operate as either a standalone configuration which is fully independent or as a Networked integrated access control system with native TCP/IP data network connection.
Intelligent Online & Offline Mode Switching
Designed with network failures in mind, the intelligent Biometric Door Access System has the capability to securely store thousands of biometric fingerprint templates in each reader unit.
This allows it to automatically switch to operate independently offline if the business data transmission network is lost.
5. Assignment of User Groups with Custom Access Rights
Enrolled users can be pre-assigned to groups where appropriate to allowing them custom access rights to a specific set of doors with an optionally specified time and date start & end parameters.
Dual Factor Authentication Functionality
As an added security layer, each user security profile can configure during enrollment for high-security areas that require dual token authentication, such as requiring both Biometric credentials & scanning of Proximity Smart swipe card.
6. Optimized Superimposed Biometric Templates
To ensure a low failure rate during fingerprint reading, multiple images are captured for each fingerprint impression and combined into a single optimum mathematical Biometric template.
This significantly helps to increase the matching rates
Propriety LES Technology
The highly reliable biometric fingerprint reader technology utilizes patented Light Emitting Sensor (LES) technology. This helps it to meets the highest security and reliability standards demanded by today’s commercial security applications.
This is unlike conventional Optical or Silicon fingerprint readers which is composed of a hydrophobic coated multi-layer polymer film that flows with the detection of moving electrons from a live human finger.
7. User-Friendly Operation
Easy to Setup
Implementation of the biometric door access system is very simple and can be set up to be fully operational on the same day.
Unlimited Enrollment Population Size
the Biometric Door Access System has no size limit on the maximum population it can enroll.
The authentication software enables it to immediately process more than 1000 templates per second with every instance of fingerprint authentication.
Fast & Easy User Enrollment
Administration and enrollment of uses into the Biometric Door Access System is clear-cut and centrally based.
The initial user enrollment process can be completed in seconds with the flexibility/option to register/enroll one or all 10 of a user’s fingerprint impressions.
